Praise from the whole heart.
Reading: Psalm 9 vs 1-11.
Key verse: 1kjv
The circumference
was saturated of it. The rhythm of the dancers, the melody from the singers and
the synchronous sounds from the musical instruments all weaved together, blended
without a fault creating a mesmerizing effect. The aftermath of that was
immortal joy and heavenly liveliness that overwhelm the congregants. Lizzy seems
to be at the top of the list. Her joy knew no bound as her voice ripped the
pockets of air, resonating over and over as she gives out a shout of praise to
God.

miraculously. She conceived that year.
But not quite long, an ugly situation surfaced. The fetus died in her womb in the second
trimester.
The day she
was told that by the doctor that performed the scan, she rejected it with the
name of Jesus. She screamed “No, I reject that in Jesus’ name; you are wrong
doctor. My child is alive.”
She returned
home and let out the news to her husband, who advised her to try another hospital.
She did that but it was still the same news she was told. Having gone to two
more places, the reality begins to dawn on her that her joy of carrying a baby
was just an elusive dream. The news begins to eat deeply on her until a fateful
day, after having wept over and over in the church and no more strength to
weep, she sat glued to her seat.
The Regional
Pastor that preached on that day was almost gone when an interruption came
halting his walk out of the podium. After having a discussion with the man that
was seeking for his attention, he looked and saw someone seated at his far
right.
Lizzy came
after the pastor asked for her audience. Her face said it all that something is
wrong with her.
After being
asked, she fought her tears back as she struggles to speak out. The pastor
encouraged her, she mustered the strength and spoke out how it is with her.
Her
gratitude to God knew no bound as she screamed on that blissful worship service
when she was giving her testimony. The church was left in awe. Everyone stood
up and started singing: How great is our God.
The breath
of air that is given freely, health and other things you enjoy worth giving God
glory. Praising God is one thing and doing so with your whole heart is another.
The things He has done, being doing and will do also demands us to worship him.
Cultivate the habit of praising God and see Him finalize the remaining things
you are trusting him to do.
Thoughts: Have
you been praising God before now? How often is it? Do you seek to renew your
praise life?
