The latter day glory
Reading:
Haggai 2 vs 9kjv
Key verse: 9kjv.
The temple
was left in ruins. Its beauty used to
glow like a shinning sun. It spoke volume of how much of the resources used,
creativity of minds that wielded together to craft something unique, now become
a story told.
Yes, they
did something about the ruins but the effects of their effort were nothing to
compare to former. To them, they have done something but before God, what they
did was not good enough.
He reminded
them to go and ask about the former glory of the building, promised them about
greater days ahead, admonished them that with Him resources are limitless,
enjoined them to rise up and do more.
The same is
applicable to every sphere of our lives. Whatever God has done in your past
life that awes you and left you stupefied of his limitlessness and
impossibility power; I want you to know that what you had in the past is a
child’s play of what He is about to do in your lives.
You will
experience a move of God in your lives like never before. The WORD of God is
not just there to excite you and tickle your fancy but to assure you and
increase your faith to believe Him the more.
In your
spiritual life, you will experience his power like a dynamite, moved to realms
in the spirit while in other areas of your life there will be un-parallel
breakthrough, miraculous provision and promotion, marital bliss and many more
your imaginations can not come in terms with.
The Lord has
said it, what is left for you is to believe it and I tell you that seals it.
Thoughts:
The memories of the past moved of God will be swallowed and left out with the
present and future outpouring of the Lord. One thing remains and it is: how
ready are you for it? How is the state of your life? Are you living for him or
not?
Prayers:
Lord, please manifest your glory in my life. Cause and effects that will thrill
elevate the faith of believers and thrill the unbelievers to know that is only
you can do this. This I pray in Jesus’ name.
