A New Dawn

Reading: Genesis 1 vs 12_{kjv .}Key verse: 2_kjv

“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the surface of the deep…"

Three features could be pin-pointed that characterized the earth at that state and they are:

A) Formlessness

B) Emptiness

C) Sieged by thickets of darkness.

Events played out and turned the tides around and the first could be seen in the second part of the verse: “And the Spirit of God moved ….

The other could be seen being repeated and that is “ And God said…”

The synergy of the move of the spirit and the word turned the earth from its awful, hopeless and dark state into beautiful, fruitful and flooded with light.

The former state of the earth could be seen in many lives today. Some could be seen suffering from all kinds of formlessness ranging from spiritual to career; a few from all manner of emptiness while some others could be probably have their lives veiled with thickets of darkness or being stalked by it.

Good news is: the Spirit and the Word of God is still working today to birth a newness that blossoms beyond bounds. All the glamour, beauty minds could ever think of is feasible with God only and if only you let Him have his way in your lives.

As everyone goes about celebrating for this new year, do well to make sure that the newness of this year will bring a turning point in your life if peradventure it hasn't.

Seeing another year wasn't by chance or manner of happenstance so don't take it a for frivolity sake or another year to continue with those ways that did not bring glory to God but a year of new beginning and new walk with the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Thoughts: A newness of life is possible and the actualization could be attained when you decide willingly and wholeheartedly to walk in synergy with God. Amos(3:3).

Prayer: Lord, I today sincerely from the depth of my heart make this request for a newness of life and I ask Lord for a walk with You. I ask this in Jesus Name.
