Revelation of the end and beginning of another: preface
Reading: Revelation 1 vs 1 -20
This verse of life will surely fold
in, give way, for another. This book of the bible reveals things about the end
of this life, events that will play out before the end which will all together
fold in for another verse of life that is without end, timeless, immortal. It
has Jesus Christ at the center stage of all that will transpire. He made himself
known to John, who when he saw the irresistible glory of Christ, fell as a dead
man, a hapless man. That was just a glimpse of what Christ glory is.
No man born
of a woman or woman born of woman, or powers in the heaven, underneath,
beneath, beyond can stand tall before Him.
Every knee/dominion, authority, kingdom bows before Him.
The setting
was within the Anno Domini, at the isle of Patmos, hairs-breadth from Asia
Minor.
The seven
stars in His right hand are the Angels of the churches. The Angels are the
Heads of the churches in question while the seven candlesticks are the churches—congregants
that gather together for fellowship/worship. The two-edged sword from his
mouth, is the WORD of God.
Christ knows
why we do what we do. Not only that He sees all that we do, He also knows the
triggers behind what we do. Some, do so well to live a pretentious life that
they are only followers of Christ when they are in the church, among brethren,
pastors, leaders but outside the reach of these people they manifest who they
are to the uttermost.
There is no
need to live a fake Christian life. It is either you are in or out. Nothing
like sitting on the fence or being in the middle.
Thoughts:
What has Christ, His Word revealed to you about your state of life/relationship
with Him?
Prayers:
Lord let the revelations of your word be revealed and demystify to me, give me
grace to heed and do as the mystery is being unveiled. This I ask through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
