God’s stance on Judgment between two parties

    Reading: Romans 2 vs 1 -3

     Key verse: 1kjv

The verdict has been passed. The young man, full of life, bubbling with a blissful feature will go into oblivion from the earth in a short passage of time. Not even the placates of the high profiles nor the incessant cry from the mother was able to change the verdicts passed by the stern looking Judge whose countenance was in a serious fuss with smiles. When it appeared to them, that they were kicking the air, they gave in.

That was the case between an authorized lawyer, working in a government institution, and a murderer who has been sentenced to death after being convicted of murder. The thing is this: Besides, the established institutions that are levied with the responsibility of passing judgment, no one else is allowed to pass judgment.

Jungle justice or taking the law into your hands or meddling into a case you know not off or laying accusing figures to others is completely disannulled by God.

But does that mean you can’t correct, reprimand someone that is deviating from the right track if you are in the position of doing so?

Off course not. But you must ensure that your character is a pattern of good works.  For if the Judge, thou authorized is found culprit of that which he passes verdict against, even the law will take hold of him. To elucidate more, key points will be listed:

a)     To sinners, don’t condemn, ridicule or mock them when you want to correct/preach/pass a message to them. (John 3 vs 17)

b)     To a brother that has started derailing, you correct in love and not castigate or treat him/her less than a humane (Galatians 6 vs 1)

Don’t forget, there is a Supreme Judge in Heaven. The Judge of all judges.

The tone we use, the state of our heart, our lives pattern, the love of Christ in our heart affect how we convey our message to the parties aimed at.

Thoughts:    You can’t give what you don’t have. You can’t reprimand what you indulge in. To correct someone, ensure that you are not an indulgent in that or similar.

Prayers: Lord help me to live an exemplary life to others, fill my heart with your love and direct my foot step on how to love, correct others and not judge them. This I ask through Jesus Christ our Lord.
